SUMMARY:

Having spent my working life in the Plastering Industry, working in every capacity, and in a leadership roll during the majority of those years. I feel confidant that I'm qualified for any position in the industry. My specialty is "Ornamental Plastering" and I'm considered a Master in this field. I do all phases of Ornamental work, Layout, Sculpturing, Mold Making, Casting, Template Making and Run in Place Molds.

In 1992 after my retirement, I was selected by the Bectel Corp. in Washington, D.C. to go to Moscow, Russia as a "Consultant" for the U.S. State Dept. in the restoration of the American Embassy. I have letters of recommendation from Bectel for the work I did there. I am still able to work in this capacity. I feel I have much expertise to offer anyone in the Plastering Industry.

WORK HISTORY

1978-1991 Field Superintendent, for Artisan Plastering Co. Mpl, Mn.                               As a "Field Superintendent" it was my responsibility to completely Oversee the "Plastering Operations" on multiple commercial projects from their inception , to their completion. This included the management of a large staff of highly skilled workers, varying in numbers from 50 to 100, The designing of scaffolding,  The purchasing of materials, the stocking of Materials and equipment on the various projects, and all negotiations with Contractors, Owners and Architects. My reason for leaving this employer was my retirement.

1967-1978 Estimator for, John B. Sander Co. Mpl., Mn.                                                        As an "Estimator" for this contractor, I worked mainly in the "Dodge Plan Room". where all the Plans for upcoming commercial construction are made available to subscribing contractors. It was my responsibility to determine the amount of work to be done in the various sections we would be bidding, and the cost of such, according to the plans and specifications, submit bids to the various General Contractors and negotiate the contracts for those bids that were successful. John B. Sander Co. later became Sander and Company. Artisan  Plastering Co. was a result of a split in Sander and Company, so in reality I was with the same employer from 67 to91, but in different capacities.

1956-1967 Job Forman for United Plastering Co. Amarillo Texas                                          As a "Job Forman" It was my responsibility to oversee the work being done by my company on individual construction projects. In the later two years with this company I was advanced to the position of "Superintendent". My reason for leaving this employer was a relocation.

1950-1956 Apprentice to Journeyman Plasterer with Royce Plastering Co. Durango Colo. Starting as a "Mud Mixer and Plaster Tender" I was later taken on as an "Apprentice Plasterer" After serving my apprenticeship I worked as a "Journeyman Plasterer". Relocation was my reason for leaving this employer.
